It’s good to be home. Coming home to Ireland for the Christmas & the New Year period has been on the cards for a while so for a long time I’ve been looking forward to my first Christmas at home in 8 years. To get here I’ve travelled through 8 countries & across 9 times zones since touching down in Hong Kong from India on October 17th last, some 54 days ago now. So I guess I was excited coming in to land this morning, so much so that I had my camera out on Ryanair flight 115 from London as it was approaching Dublin Airport. My first glimpse of home in over a year was a beautiful sight on a beautiful Irish December day. I don’t remember the Irish countryside ever looking as good.
