Concepción de Ataco is, after Juayúa, my second and last stop on the Ruta de Las Flores in western El Salvador. It’s yet another picturesque El Salvadorian colonial town, one awash with brightly painted street walls to complement the requisite cobbled streets, shady central plaza & whitewashed church. It’s all hip, all very colonial artsy, and was a nice location to spend a Saturday night before moving on to the El Salvadorian capital of San Salvador.
